Hello! I am Meredith Crawford, owner of Where Do I Begin. People often ask me how I became a professional organizer. The truth is, I've been organizing people, spaces, and systems for most of my life.

As the daughter of a military family, I learned early that home wasn't about staying in one place—it was about creating order and comfort wherever life took us. We packed, unpacked, adapted, and started over more times than I can count. Looking back, those experiences taught me something I still carry today: when your space functions well, life feels a little lighter.

Before starting Where Do I Begin, I spent nearly three decades serving others in careers built around organization, preparation, and problem-solving.

For ten years, I worked in collegiate and professional athletics as an equipment manager. At one point, I was overseeing the equipment and apparel needs of more than 800 student-athletes across 26 varsity sports. Every day required planning, attention to detail, and systems that worked without fail. Success wasn't about perfection—it was about creating an environment where coaches and athletes could focus on what mattered most because everything else was already taken care of.

From there, I spent nearly twenty years as an educator in Texas. Whether I was managing a classroom, supporting students, or balancing the countless moving pieces that come with education, my purpose remained the same: create calm in the middle of busy, help people stay organized, and build routines that make life run more smoothly.

Today, I bring that same mindset into every home I enter.

I'm also a wife and a mom of two girls, so I understand firsthand how quickly homes can become overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. Children grow, schedules change, seasons shift, and what worked six months ago suddenly doesn't anymore. That's normal.

My goal isn't to create magazine-worthy spaces or ask families to live with impossible standards. I believe organization should support your life—not complicate it.

Together, we'll create practical systems that fit the way your family actually lives. Spaces that are calm, functional, and easy to maintain. Small, thoughtful changes that make mornings smoother, evenings less stressful, and everyday life feel a little more manageable.

If you've ever stood in the middle of your home wondering, Where do I begin?—you're exactly where you need to be.

I'd be honored to help you create a home that works for you, so you can spend less time managing your stuff and more time enjoying the people who matter most.
